Most kids pick their noses so although you'd probably prefer they don't, this book at least teaches them where they should put what is on the end of their finger. Told through a quick poem with around three sentences a page, this picture book gives many suggestions of places the child could put their booger. Of course all are wrong and ultimately it tells them the correct place to leave it. It's a pretty quick read, probably only take you 20-30 seconds to get through, but the message is done in a fun way so would probably get through more than just yelling at a kid not to do that.The illustrations are fairly simple, sort of like South Park characters are drawn (the story is not adult level like that TV show though).

We have finally learned the true mystery about boogers! The rhyming within the story helps us remember. Strongly recommend for all ages.
I think kids need funny readings when they're with family. Schools give them the other.
My grandchildren are at the ages (3 & 5) when they are about mimicking friends at their childcare centres and as nanny, I have to explain that some nasty behaviours children practice are unhealthy......this book is great.
Got this for my nephew who is 5 and thinks boogers are funny. He thought (and I agree whole heartily) that it was anything but funny. Not a giggle or a smile did he make when we read this together. Something funny like "What do you find inside a child's nose? Fingerprints! " That is funny - "Where not to put your boogers. On the cat. " Not funny. The images look like clipart images pasted together - different sizes, formats, etc..
Plus this review probably has more words in it than the whole book. What a waste of a book. So much more could have been done with this to make it funny, interesting and maybe even informative - but not a hint of any of that.
DO NOT BOTHER - even FREE - it is not worth the bytes on your kindle.
I asked my six year old nephew what he thought was funny. His immediate answer was "boogers." Perhaps not my proudest moment as an aunt.
But kids books aren't about the grown-up, they are about the kid. And he loved this fun little book about boogers. So, I'm sold.
The pictures and the rhyming story are very cute (and a little gross, but appropriate for a youngster). The bottom line is that this is a terrific little children's book.
Everybody has boogers and what they do with them is up to each individual - a cute book of what you could do with them but ends up giving you the best solution to the problem!
